What our customers say

  • “The Cumquat House - wow, what a gem!! The owners were so accommodating and very friendly. The room we stayed in was immaculate, with all the creature comforts of home and the view from the balcony was just lovely! We had the best sleep - the bed was so comfortable, I was almost tempted to ask the owner what brand it was ha ha! Would highly recommend this place for anyone travelling through or staying in Ipswich. Will certainly be coming back - 10/10 :)”

  • “Owners were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in slightly early after a long trip up. They were very understanding in our situation. Bed was comfortable. A/c worked. Hot water in shower. Bathroom seemed fairly new and was a nice size. Very pretty place all together. Tea and coffee in the room for guests. Little bar fridge in room. We didn't spend much time there as it was a holiday but the time spent there was amazing. There were plenty of other guests there and I couldn't hear any of them. Breakfast was delightful. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Was easy to get into town from cumquat house. Was well worth the money we spent to stay there.”
